Who writes, how we test and where the money comes from.

Sophie De Clercq has followed the Belgian gambling market since 2017 and verifies every claim with an emphasis on support and limits. Works from Brugge.
How we test. we open an account ourselves, start with a deposit of our own money, pull the money out and time the whole route. White or black: we look the operator up at the Gaming Commission and check what the terms actually say. What we have not seen ourselves, we do not write.
Our income comes from affiliate commissions; the verdict stays the same, commission or not. Whoever is not on the white list reads it here.
Limits, age and EPIS
The rules on player protection here run more firmly than players tend to expect with effects you cannot route around. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling. Adjusting downwards works right away, raising happens neither easily nor instantly.
Through EPIS the Gaming Commission runs centralised exclusion: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. The request goes through the regulator itself. The age bar moved on 1 September 2024 from 18 to 21 for casino, hall and betting; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. The check is automatic.
